Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how you can request the deletion of personal data that Divine Hindu (“Divine Hindu”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) holds about you, including any data we receive when you interact with us through Facebook or Instagram — for example, by using Facebook Login, messaging us, responding to our ads or lead forms, or through the Meta pixel on our website at divinehindu.in.

We respect your right to control your personal information and will action verified deletion requests in accordance with applicable data-protection laws.

What data this covers

Depending on how you have interacted with us, the personal data we may hold includes: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and order history. Where you connected through a Meta platform, it may also include your Facebook or Instagram public profile information, the email address associated with your Facebook account, and advertising or interaction identifiers.

How to request deletion of your data

To request that we delete your personal data, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email to privacy@divinehindu.in from the email address associated with your account or your Facebook/Instagram login.
2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
3. In the body of the email, include your full name and the email address and/or phone number you used with us, so that we can locate your records.
4. If your request relates to data collected through Facebook or Instagram, please also mention the name on your Facebook/Instagram account.

If you signed in using Facebook Login

If you used Facebook to log in or connect to Divine Hindu and you would also like to remove our app's access from your Facebook account, you can:

1. Go to your Facebook account Settings & Privacy → Settings.
2. Select Apps and Websites.
3. Find Divine Hindu in the list and select Remove.

Removing the app stops any future data sharing. To also delete the data already stored on our systems, please email us as described above.

What happens after you submit a request

• We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days.
• We may ask you to verify your identity in order to protect your account.
• We will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days of verifying your request, and confirm by email once it is complete.

Data we may be required to retain

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires us to — for example, invoices and transaction records needed for tax, accounting, or legal-compliance purposes, or information necessary to detect and prevent fraud. Any retained data is kept only for as long as required and is then securely deleted.
